Success Stories & Achievements

Several of our students have ranked among the top candidates in national exams, earning distinction and recognition for their hard work. One notable success story is that of Maryline. R . Shayo, who scored in the top 1% in the NECTA exams, earning a scholarship to one of the country’s leading universities. His success has inspired many peers to aim high and push beyond their limits.

Scolastica has also seen tremendous success in sports, with students regularly taking top positions in regional and national athletics competitions. Abdul Kawambwa, a former student, won a gold medal in the national athletics championship in her final year. Her dedication and relentless training paid off, and she now competes at an international level, representing our school and nation.

In the arts, David Kimaro earned national recognition in the annual art competition, showcasing his exceptional talent in visual arts. His works have been exhibited in various galleries, and he continues to inspire younger students to explore their creative abilities.

Our students also excel in leadership, often taking up key roles in student government and community outreach programs. Emmanuel Amani, as the head of the student council, led initiatives focused on environmental sustainability, raising awareness about recycling and waste management. His efforts had a profound impact on the school and local community.

In 2018, Robert John Tano didn’t just pass the NECTA Form Six exams—he soared. With a mind sharpened by relentless discipline and a spirit driven by purpose, Robert ranked among the top students nationwide. His journey was one of passion, perseverance, and purpose. Known for his quiet confidence and razor-sharp intellect, Robert’s name became synonymous with academic excellence at Scolastica. He set a benchmark that inspired not only his peers but also the generations that followed.

A year later, in 2019, Meryline Rebmann Shayo carried the torch of excellence with grace and power. Her performance in the NECTA examinations was nothing short of phenomenal. But Meryline was more than just a high achiever—she was a well-rounded student who embodied leadership, determination, and poise. Whether in the classroom, on stage, or in service, Meryline consistently stood out. Her success was a perfect blend of natural brilliance and tireless effort—a true reflection of Scolastica’s spirit.
